Lizzetta LeFalle-Collins has worked as an independent museum curator since 1991. In addition to curating domestic and international exhibitions, she has taught art history courses at San Francisco Bay Area colleges and universities including the University of California, Davis, San Francisco Art Institute, John F. Kennedy University, University of San Francisco, and Mills College. While curating and teaching, Lizzetta has maintained an active academic writing career, publishing extensively in exhibition catalogs, art journals, and art anthologies. In 2012 she chose to limit her curatorial work and focus  on creative writing, mainly creative non-fiction and poetry.
