Marion Weber Healing Arts Fellowship

The Marion Weber Healing Arts Fellowships were created by Marion R. Weber, a healer, artist, writer and philanthropist who lives in nearby Stinson Beach.

Previous Executive Director Susan Page Tillett said, “It has been such a pleasure to work with Marion on the formation of this fellowship, which supports the healing arts in the broadest sense. Marion’s selected  residents work on topics as broad as homelessness, education and climate change. She has met individually with each Weber Fellow and shared an hour or more of deep conversation. I have been privileged to participate in each memorable exchange. Putting people together in this way is one of the greatest parts of my job.”
One Weber Fellow, Paul Tough, said, “It’s such an honor to have been selected for one of the Marion Weber fellowships. I write about education, which I hadn’t previously thought of as one of the healing arts. Being chosen for the fellowship not only gave me time to write and think, it also gave me a new perspective on my work and what it means. Getting to meet Marion herself and to hear a bit about her own life in the healing arts was an additional inspiration.”
The Marion Weber Healing Arts Fellowship supports writers working as healing artists or in the healing arts fields.
